Harvard Law School
Who is your fairy godmother Barry?
Does anyone else find it curious that Senator Obama persistently claims to be from very modest roots, to be in touch with the common people?
Senator Obama’s education record illustrates a preference for private schools and classmates who would not be characterized as ‘common people’:
- Muslim elementary school for 2 years in Malaysia
- Catholic elementary school for 2 years in Malaysia
- Elementary school in Hawaii, Punahou Private School
- High School in Hawaii, Punahou Private School
- Occidental college in LA, for 2 years undergraduate studies
- Columbia University of the Ivy League in NY, to finish the undergraduate degree
- Harvard Law School in Boston, for 3 years and a law degree.
While watching ‘This Week With George Stephanopoulos’ September 15 2008 I was irritated me by the closing statement made by Mr. Paul Begalus. Paraphrasing he said – that Senator John McCain thinks that he has 9 or more houses. McCain is not certain. Senator Barack Obama was raised by a single mother on food stamps. Then he asked – who do you think is out of touch with the common people? Who do you think is better suited to lead this country out of its current troubles?
How did – several months on food stamps at the age of 2 or 3 years, after his parents divorced – become a lifetime of hardship as inferred by Mr. Begalus? Remember that same child never saw a public school, not in Malaysia, not in Hawaii, not in LA for his first 2 years of university, not completing his undergraduate degree at Columbia University and certainly not during his 3 years at Harvard Law School. When did he connect with the ‘common folk’? With all the claims to being so financial challenged, with all the claims to being in touch with the common folk, I just do not know how he and his family financed all that private school education. Even if they pulled a rabbit out of a hat, it is certainly not the common folk connection claimed by all in the Obama camp.
Do you know any common folk who attended Harvard Law School?
